The New Train is 9 ft. by 22 ft. and will be both an around the room and an island design. It will have two Walk-Through Bridges based on the hinges fold down design in March 2014 Model Railroader. I will have rounded corners on the two wall corners so the background scenery will flow.
As you can see the bottom panels on the room are 1/2 plywood so I can screw in anything where ever I want. The top part is sheet rock that is now painted light blue as well as the rounded corners. I did put a low voltage box on each sid of the room to facilitate power runs so they would not have to circle the whole layout causing a huge current drain. But I am not sure I will need them now.
